About the event
Over the past 18 months, an interdisciplinary design and research team from the University of Texas at Arlington has developed a Downtown Adaptation Plan for Corpus Christi. Led by Oswald Jenewein, Director of FUELED – Future Environments Lab for Ecological Design, this project aimed to balance two crucial resources of Corpus Christi: Oil and Water.
In several community visioning workshops, the project team gathered information from Corpus Christi residents, private and public stakeholders, and interest groups to identify the city’s biggest assets and challenges. These assets and challenges informed the development of seven key-strategies aiming to make Downtown ready for the future.
We are thrilled to unveil the project “Corpus Christi – A Productive City” in a relaxed after-work atmosphere at BUS (Bar Under the Sun) in Downtown Corpus Christi on Thursday April 1, 2021 starting at 6pm.
We will show a short-film about the project and hope to gather additional feedback defining the next steps forward. The project's current stage is not a final outcome - it is a framework for a continued dialog with residents and stakeholders within and around Corpus Christi.
Please RSVP here or simply join us at BUS on April 1, 2021, 6pm.
